Worst experience ever.
My account was on auto pay, never missed payments but one day i get a letter that im behind. I always eatch my bank account and the payment always posted the 15th of every month.
For some reason my payment raised and they never notified me of this until i was behind payments. Than they threatened repo of my quad and marked my credit as delinquent and my credit took a hit. No warnings or offer to make good on it. It was only 2 months.
When i tried to call and make good, the lady manager was extremely rude and cursed. So now im fighting to keep my quad and refinamce with someone else. After i paid them what i owed but she told me its too late. Unbelievable, idk how these people sleep at night.
Worse company ever. I will never use them again and will tell everyone i can to use someone else.

Repo Due to not applying my payment
I was 15 days late on my Payment, So I called Sheffield to Pay more than what I owed. They Gladly took my money, The amount was then applied to principal, but not to my payment that was due?
Which makes no sense right? So tonight the Repo Company came to repo the machine I cooperated with them. Sheffield gave the repo company false information that I had 4 machines. So then the repo company insisted I return the machines, which I only have 1 machine The repo company threatened to show up with cops the following day I am very angry now.
Worst finance company!!! I will be giving Sheffield a call and they will pay for everything or I will sue!!!

First payment was late due to my own negligence setting up auto pay. I received a $40 late charge and made my payment manually.
Customer service rep said that she would wsive the late payment and stop my auto pay. Before the second payment came due i manually paid it. Sheffield auto pay was not closed like i was told and an auto pay request was kicked out again. Anothet $40.
I was told by them that the auto pay was still functioning and the payment didnt go through even though i was already paid up. No matter to them they will only waive one late charge throughout the life of the loan. What a scam.
Im sure they encourage to make mistakes. Why not more money for bonuses

I used a online service that was on your website to make my payment and payments were shown as being lat each month and one payment even showed 30 days late. When you notified me this was happening I got it straightened up and started a new on line payment that your rep.
Recommended have not been late and did not know the payments were showing late until you notified me. When I check my credit report it shows you reported me as being late.
I would appreciate it if you would correct it to the credit bureaus and get it removed from my credit record. Thank you

My father had passed, I had call Sheffield to let them know and that I would take over payments and my address I was turned down. The balance was 4400 with 20 more payments left.
I then offered them 2000 now and 320 for the next six months, still turned down.
They said all the money or lose it, I said I just lost my mom and dad and it cost me 16000 to bury them. They are very heartless I hope these message is very disturbing to others, I would like for slot of people to hear it

Fraudulant Business Practice's
I called Sheffield Fin. and asked what the minimum credit rating for a loan to be approved so that I would use another route if need be.
They told me they used Equifax and them minimum score was 675, I having much higher than that I applied and got turned down. I called them and they said I had a return score of 652, I told them I just called Equifax and got my score from them and it was 695.
They told me "No they gave me the wrong information" so I called Equifax they told me that my hard pull was 695 and that was that but some company's just pull info and determine their own by using the info on Equifax, I then call Sheffield back and they again told me "No that Equifax was flat out wrong." I now have a hard pull on my credit for the next two years because of there inability to tell a consumer truthfully how they figure the score. Stay away Rude and Shady.

Payments are never raised you could only go lower if requested. The reason why your payment was increased was either due to a nsf fee $40 for when Sheffield pull from your account the money was there and a late fee which is usually 4% Sheffield offers HOliday coupons and extensions for less than 30 day delinquent accounts and gives out fee waivers for late or nsf fee charges
