Sheffield Financial - Loan Review
2 comments
My father had passed, I had call Sheffield to let them know and that I would take over payments and my address I was turned down. The balance was 4400 with 20 more payments left.
I then offered them 2000 now and 320 for the next six months, still turned down.
They said all the money or lose it, I said I just lost my mom and dad and it cost me 16000 to bury them. They are very heartless I hope these message is very disturbing to others, I would like for slot of people to hear it
Reason of review: Problems with payment.

I wish someone had told you before you called them, not to. The first thing to do in this situation is to see if there is any death benefit coverage, once again do not call the loan company.
This type of coverage is purchase in case of something terrible like this happens.
The loan, and the credit to secure it, was your fathers. The fiance company will not work with you, for many good reasons to list, to pay it off. The company really should not have given you the opportunity to pay it off with out physical proof of his passing to protect your father and his credit.
I know it doesn't sound like it should so but it is. So what can be done, if you can carry the payments through to the end of the loan? Don't tell the credit company anything least of all that you are making the payments!
Should the need for an address change arise and questions asked the answer is that it is for "security reasons."
Fraud n. the intentional use of deceit, a trick or some dishonest means to deprive another of his/her/its money, property or a legal right.
Helping your family pay their bills is not fraud.
Why worry at all your dead fathers credit who cares ,,, keep the equipment for free unless it is a " titled" vehicle the finance company loses ,, quads dirt bikes lawn mowers un titled !!!
Enjoy the free stuff screw shefield ,, thank dad !!
